First3 (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the First3 mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use First3, we may collect and store your display name, email address, gratitude entries, daily intentions, reminder preferences, app settings, streaks, progress, usage history, and authentication information provided through Sign in with Apple or email magic links.

If you use First3 without creating an account, your data is stored locally on your device. If you create an account, your data may be securely synchronized with our cloud database so it can be restored across devices.

2. Screen Time Permissions

First3 uses Apple’s Family Controls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks to help you block distracting apps until you complete your daily gratitude ritual.

The apps you choose to block are managed through Apple’s Screen Time system. We do not receive, view, or store the list of apps you select.

  • Passwords
  • Payment card information
  • Contacts
  • Photos
  • Microphone or camera data
  • Precise location
  • The content of other apps on your device
  • The apps you choose to block with Screen Time

4. How We Use Information

We use your information only to provide and improve First3, including saving your gratitude journal, tracking streaks, syncing data if you are signed in, sending optional reminders, providing support, and improving app reliability.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers. We may share limited information with trusted service providers only when necessary to operate First3, such as authentication, secure cloud hosting, diagnostics, and Apple App Store services.

6. In-App Purchases

First3 may offer premium features through Apple’s App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your credit card or payment information.

7. Analytics and Diagnostics

We may collect anonymous diagnostics, crash reports, and performance data to improve app stability. Apple may also provide aggregated analytics through App Store Connect.

8. Push Notifications

If you enable reminders, First3 schedules notifications to remind you to complete your daily gratitude ritual. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

9. Data Retention

If you use an account, your information remains stored until you delete your account or request deletion. If you use First3 anonymously, your data remains on your device until the App is removed or its data is deleted.

10. Children’s Privacy

First3 is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date above.
